• Dr. Carrie Schlachter was raised riding horses in the competitive ‘A’ circuit on the east coast.  She has more than 30 years of experience with horses as a rider, veterinarian and owner.
  • Educated at the University of Pennsylvania’s Veterinary School and New Bolton Center she received the Charles F. Reid Clinical Excellence Award for Sports Medicine as well as numerous scholarships.
  • For many years in general practice she nurtured her interest in sports medicine and particularly in diagnostic ultrasound.  She then turned to the alternative therapies of chiropractic manipulation and acupuncture to broaden her diagnostic and treatment options.  
  • Since her certification in the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society she has focused her veterinary practice on improving the performance and quality of life of the animals that we share our lives with.

Nicole Numainville - vet tech
  • Nicole Numainville was born and raised in the bay area and has been riding horses, training horses, managing barns and teaching for almost 20 years.
  • Educated at Virginia Intermont College in Equine Science she has returned to our area and applied her knowledge to many different aspects of the horse industry.
  • She helps us out at Animals In Motion in so many ways!
